private lessons
Private lessons are one-on-one with Mr. Treay and can be 30 minutes or a full hour. It’s a focused, personal setting where students can really grow, improve, and get the attention they need at their own pace.
drumline
TC Drumline has both a younger beginner group and an older group for more advanced players. Students learn, practice together, and perform at shows, parades, and competitions throughout the year. It’s a great way to build skills and be part of something bigger.
recitals
Our recitals are a chance for students to show what they’ve been working on in a real performance setting. It’s a fun, supportive environment with live music and a great crowd.
camps
Champion Camp is a great way for students to learn, improve, and build confidence in a fun environment. Each camp has its own theme to keep things exciting and different, while still helping students stay focused and consistent. It’s a chance to grow and be part of the TC community.

Treay Caldwell is a devoted drum instructor and the founder of TC DRUMS, launched in 2022.
Since beginning teaching in 2021, Treay has taught hundreds of students, expanding the program with the TC Drumline in 2024, the younger TC Drumline in spring 2025, Champion Camp in summer 2025, & becoming 100% independent in October 2025 by moving into his own facility to teach.
Known for his passion and confidence through music, Treay leads exhilarating recitals that draw hundreds of people, showcasing students’ progress and passion. Treay plans to open his own Music & Performing Arts Center where hundreds of students can come to learn not just drums; but everything ranging from musical instruments, voice lessons, dance, theater & more!

We use modern technology to make lessons more engaging and more effective. Our drum sets are mic’d up, giving students a true studio feel while they play. They hear themselves clearly, develop confidence, and learn what it actually sounds like to play at a high level—not just in a room, but like they would on stage or in a recording.
We also focus heavily on reading music, not just playing by ear. Our goal is to build real musicians who understand what they’re doing, not just memorize patterns.
And then there’s our recitals.
At TC DRUMS, recitals aren’t slow or predictable—they’re events. High energy, full productions, and something students actually look forward to being part of. Families don’t just come to support… they come expecting a show. It’s one of the biggest things that sets us apart.
